Mission Statement
We have created Dark Aurora not to just to be a home for us, but to all that share in the ideals we hold true. The following is a list of what we hold most important:
- to honor the connections made in-game and to show respect to all who occupy our walls,
- to foster a fun and friendly environment,
- to not be an "elitist" guild, all levels are welcome here and always will be, and
- to represent the best in human nature and rise above the petty and nonsensical.
We expect only a few things, such as follows:
- to obey all the rules set forth here,
- to enjoy the game, level at your own pace, If that means leveling every day, hour or month, this is up to you, and
- not to sacrifice your personal life over a game.
Code of Conduct
No excessive profanity
- While it is okay to swear from time to time, please keep it to a minimum.
- We are not a "politically correct" guild, be who you are, say what you want to say. In respects to this all we ask is that you show courtesy to your fellow guilders - use a bit of commen sense please.
No harassing members. This includes:
- begging for Gold,
- begging for Items,
- begging for Quest Help,
- pushing/forcing someone to leave the guild,
- pushing/forcing someone to join the guild, and
- most especially, no harassing Female members!
Members are expected to register and make use the guild website to its fullest potential.
- a lot of useful information can be found in our forums,
- it is a good source to communicate with those that are not able to log into the game but are able to check the website, and
- our RvR information and news is on the website.
Chat courtesy
- no spamming in-game chat in any channel,
- no spamming the guild forums, and
- understand there may be occasions where we cannot reply immediately, do not take this personally. The guild member in question may be in an instance, AFK or otherwise busy.
In guild fighting
- if you have a problem with another guild member, take it to one of the officers, and
- problems will arise from time to time and the officers will deal with it as they see fit when the time is right.
Leaving the guild
- you may leave the guild at any time.
- if you leave the guild, having received more from the guild than you put into it, you will have no chance of returning.
- if you were removed from the guild for violating any part of this charter, you will have no chance of returning.
These rules
These rules are by no means complete and are subject to amendments at any time as the officers see fit.
Please utilise some common sense and remember this is a game. |
